Business papers of William Strong, a resident of Hartford, Connecticut. Includes accounts, writs, deeds, contracts, receipts, promissory notes, and estate administration papers. Agreements suggest Strong and business partner Griffin Stedman traded in leather goods. While most of the papers are business related, there are other items, such as a descriptive 1835 receipt for clothing. Some estate administration papers are included as well, particularly for Strong's estate.
